Description:
Independently develops research methods and performs research activities. Documents research results and writes reports of results for presentation and/or publication in professional journals and other publications. Assists in maintaining the functionality and operations of the Principal Investigator’s laboratory. Demonstrates the components of the I CARE values. Follows all safety rules while on the job. Reports accidents promptly and corrects minor safety hazards. Communicates with peers and management regarding any hazards identified in the workplace. Performs other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator.

We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to join an intensely collaborative team of basic and translational research scientists interested in application of nanotechnology to personalized medicine for cancer treatment. The successful candidate will develop strategies to deliver therapeutics in nanoparticles for cancer treatment based on our multi-stage vector platform technology, and will be involved in all aspects of preclinical studies. He/She will work closely with experts in the fields of cancer biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
M.D. or Ph.D required

Postdoctoral Fellow 1 ‘ no Postdoc experience required

Postdoctoral Fellow 5 ‘ four years of postdoc experience

A Ph. D. in cancer biology, pharmacology, or a related field, exceptional scholarly record, intellectual maturity, and independence as well as excellent teamwork and communication skills are required. Expertise in mouse tumor models is desirable.
