Applications are invited for a position to work on the FP7-REGPOT-2010-5 project “Upgrading the capacities for research in translational medicine at the Faculty of Medicine University of Rijeka” (TransMedRi) coordinated by Dr. Bojan Poli? (http://www.medri.hr/~bojanp).
This three-year technological project is aimed at further strengthening of the collaboration between investigators at MEDRI and the EU countries, organization and development of formal training programmes for investigators and implementation of an efficient program of research capacity building with emphasis on the translational medicine in cancer and infectious diseases.

Requirements
Required Education Level Degree PhD or equivalent
Degree Field Medical sciences
Required Languages Language ENGLISH
Language Level Excellent
Additional Requirements Experience in cell cycle research and especially confocal fluorescence microscopy and life cell imaging will be an advantage. In addition to studying the cell cycle regulation in cancer cells, the successful candidate will be part of the team that will create and coordinate a highly sophisticated Live-Cell Imaging Facility and diffuse the practical and theoretical know-how through training of new users, technical consultations and organization of workshops.
