ACADEMICALLY-ORIENTED Radiation Oncologist wanted for a progressive PRIVATE PRACTICE group.
3 man radiation oncology group treating 70-105 patients daily is looking for a similiar hard-working, friendly, and modern-trained physician to join our group on a partnership or salaried tract. IMRT experience is required.
We have world class physics and the best equipment available. Our department is currently breaking ground on next-generation pencil beam scanning Proton therapy that will likely change the standard of care. We are a national brachytherapy training center and performed over 650 brachytherapy procedures last year. Our facility is a widely recognized TomoTherapy Center of excellence and has hosted national meetings.
This opportunities is available for enthusiastic physicians who desire to develop clinical trials, do clinical research and generate publications while working full or part time with our group. An academic appointment at the regional medical school is also an option. Our American College Of Surgeons accredited cancer center offers full oncology-related services and our department is dually accredited by the ACR and ACRO.
Outstanding relationships have been developed with our medical and gynecologic oncolgists and surgeons as well as with all other subspecialties with over 400 referring physicians to our practice.
An excellent year round climate and traditional southern lifestyle is an advantage for this position in the mid-sized city of Shreveport.
