Job Description:
We are currently looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to conduct breast cancer research in the Division of Oncology/Hematology, Departments of Medicine and General Surgery, at Rush University Medical Center.
Our research project involves the handling of rodents (transgenic mice breeding, genotyping, breast cancer tumor modeling, and necropsy), tissue culture and cell biology-related techniques (cell proliferation assay, migration and invasion, cell cycle analysis, apoptosis), basic molecular biology (RT-PCR, in situ hybridization, etc) and immunological (Western blot, ELISA, immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence staining, FACS) techniques.
M.Sc in Biomedicine and prior experience required. Ph.D. degree preferred.
