International Conference on Stem Cell Research (SCR 2011) 25 to 26 April 2011 Penang, Malaysia
HIGHLIGHTS
The Conference Proceedings will be indexed by EBSCO and SCIrus , amongst others. In addition, they will be submitted to EI Compendex and ISTP for indexing / inclusion subject to acceptance / approval.
Depending on their importance, originality, quality, relevance and other editorial considerations, eligible research articles will be invited for publication in the GSTF International Journal on Bioinformatics and Biotechnology.
Best Paper Awards and Best Student Paper Awards will be conferred at the conference (in order to qualify for the award, the paper must be presented at the conference).
The conference will be held at Hotel Equatorial Penang, Malaysia . You may want to take a look at the official website of the Malaysia Tourism Board.
CONFERENCE THEME
Innovation in biological sciences and the development of human stem cells have revolutionized today’s medical treatment. Research on stem cell repair offers new hope and possibility of a renewable source of replacement cells and tissues to treat a myriad of diseases and conditions including Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injury, burns, heart disease, diabetes, and arthritis. Thus, stem cells research presents new and exciting opportunities for future medical treatments.
The SCR conference aims to serve as a catalyst to inspire stem cell research around the world by providing an informative session for academics, researchers and experienced professionals to share their research findings and leading discoveries on the potential of such new treatment as well as the risks involved.
